- Yet: "Yet" wird häufig in negativen Sätzen und Fragen verwendet. Es impliziert, dass etwas Erwartetes oder Antizipiertes bis zum gegenwärtigen Moment noch nicht geschehen ist, aber es könnte in der Zukunft geschehen. Zum Beispiel bedeutet "I haven't finished my homework yet" (Ich habe meine Hausaufgaben noch nicht beendet), dass die Hausaufgaben nicht fertig sind, aber es wird erwartet, dass sie zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt abgeschlossen werden.
- Still: "Still" im Present Perfect zeigt an, dass eine Situation oder Handlung, die in der Vergangenheit begonnen hat, bis in die Gegenwart andauert. Es betont den fortlaufenden Charakter der Handlung oder des Zustands. Zum Beispiel bedeutet "She has still not replied to my email" (Sie hat immer noch nicht auf meine E-Mail geantwortet), dass sie noch nicht geantwortet hat und dieser Zustand der Nicht-Antwort bis in die Gegenwart anhält.
- Already: "Already" wird verwendet, um auszudrücken, dass etwas früher als erwartet oder vor jetzt geschehen ist. Es deutet oft Überraschung oder Bestätigung an. Zum Beispiel zeigt "They have already arrived at the party" (Sie sind bereits auf der Party angekommen) an, dass ihre Ankunft auf der Party bereits stattgefunden hat, vielleicht früher als erwartet.
- Just: "Just" wird verwendet, um anzugeben, dass etwas gerade erst vor kurzer Zeit geschehen ist. Es betont die Aktualität einer Handlung. In einem Satz wie "He has just completed his project" (Er hat gerade sein Projekt abgeschlossen) bedeutet dies, dass die Fertigstellung des Projekts erst vor kurzer Zeit erfolgte.
